James O’Donnell

James O'Donnell serves as Visiting Professor of Organ and Choral Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music while maintaining his position as Organist and Master of the Choristers at Westminster Abbey since 2000. His career encompasses international performance as both conductor and organist.

Previously held academic positions include organ scholarship at St John’s College, Cambridge and professorship of organ at the Royal Academy of Music (1997-2004). His performance career includes BBC Proms debut in 1992 and international recitals across Europe, North America, and Australasia.
