James Newman

James Newman, PhD, is a Research Professor in Media and University Teaching Fellow at Bath Spa University. He specializes in videogame studies, game sound/music, and media histories. As Senior Curator at the National Videogame Museum and co-founder of the Videogame Heritage Society, he focuses on preservation and digital heritage. His work spans academic research, public engagement, and creative practice.
