James Mugridge

James Mugridge is an Adjunct Professor of Law at San Joaquin College of Law (SJCL), where he teaches Moot Court. He currently serves as a Staff Attorney at the State Court of Appeal. Previously, he was a Law Clerk to Honorable Anthony Ishii (Senior District Judge, Eastern District of California). His legal career includes criminal defense work, motion drafting, and appellate advocacy. He is a SJCL alumnus (J.D.) with a B.A. from UC San Diego. Notably, his 2013 Traynor Moot Court team won the Roger J. Traynor Trophy for best oral advocacy.
