James Madejski

James Madejski is a Lecturer in Screenwriting at the School of Film and Media Studies at Purchase College, SUNY. He graduated with a BFA in Dramatic Writing from SUNY Purchase in 2011 and has since held diverse roles in the entertainment industry, including Development Coordinator for Constantin Film and Writers’/Showrunners’ Assistant on Freeform’s SHADOWHUNTERS. His creative contributions extend to major studio films such as Universal Pictures’ DOLITTLE and MGM’s ADDAMS FAMILY animated films.

Currently, Madejski is developing a feature film project in collaboration with Artists First. His career bridges academic instruction with hands-on industry experience in screenwriting, development, and production.
