James Lange

Dr. James Lange is Adjunct Assistant Professor in Global Health Management & Policy at San Diego State University's School of Public Health and Executive Director of the Higher Education Center for Alcohol and Drug Misuse Prevention and Recovery at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on alcohol and drug misuse prevention, collegiate substance abuse interventions, and impaired driving prevention.

Dr. Lange developed comprehensive prevention strategies adopted by the California State University system and received multiple Chancellor's Awards. He has led NIH-funded research on designated driver programs, collegiate drinking groups, and alcohol disclosure interventions.
