James Lancaster

James A. T. Lancaster is a Lecturer in Studies in Western Religious Traditions at the University of Queensland's School of Historical and Philosophical Inquiry. His intellectual history research examines science-religion intersections, early modern atheism, and the historical psychology of religion.

As editor of Intellectual History Review special issues, he advances scholarship on religious thought. Publications analyze figures like Francis Bacon and concepts including priestcraft in Reformation England.
