James Ladyman

James Ladyman is a Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Bristol and an Honorary Visiting Professor at the University of York. He holds a B.A. from the University of York, an M.Sc. from the University of London, and a Ph.D. from the University of Leeds. His research interests span philosophy of science, structural realism, quantum mechanics, naturalized metaphysics, and the ethical implications of artificial intelligence. Ladyman has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Philip Leverhulme Prize in Philosophy (2005) and the Choice Outstanding Academic Text Award for Understanding Philosophy of Science.
