James L. Querry

James L. Querry serves as Associate Professor of Geospatial Technology for Geodesign and Landscape Architecture at Thomas Jefferson University's College of Architecture & the Built Environment. A registered landscape architect (RLA, ASLA) with over 30 years of multidisciplinary experience spanning public sector, non-profit, private practice, and academia, he maintains active professional engagement in geospatial innovation.

His educational foundation includes:

• BS in Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University (1983)
• Master of Regional Planning from University of Pennsylvania (1996), studying under Ian McHarg and C. Dana Tomlin

Querry's research pioneers the integration of parametric design, 3D modeling for sustainable urban environments, and advanced remote sensing techniques including LiDAR and UAV drone systems.
