James Kempton

Dr. James Kempton is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology & Visual Science at Yale School of Medicine, where he has served since 2009. He also directs Eye Care Services at the West Haven Veterans Administration and co-leads Yale's Vitreoretinal Fellowship Program and Ophthalmology Residency Program.

Research Focus: Clinical management of Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and Retinal Detachment, combined with innovative Systems Approaches in Medical Education.
