James Dunagan is an Adjunct Professor at SUNY Oswego's College of Business and Entrepreneurship, Department of Communication Studies. He joined the faculty in 2018 after a 28-year career as a radio on-air talent in Syracuse, Seattle, and other Western US cities. His teaching focuses on strategic communication in business, leveraging media expertise to help students craft effective messages.

Research interests bridge media studies, educational theory, and technology. Recent work includes analyzing conspiracy theories' public pedagogy (2022) and touchscreen interaction design (2016). Office hours: Tues/Thurs 11:00-12:30pm. Courses include Strategic Communication in Business (COM 211).
