Professor James Dodd is an academic faculty member at Bristol Medical School (University of Bristol) affiliated with the Academic Respiratory Unit. He serves as head of the NHSE complex airways service (Asthma & COPD) at Southmead Hospital and deputy lead for the academic respiratory unit.
- Research Focus: Aerosol science, digital health, medical humanities, integrative epidemiology, and translational approaches to respiratory diseases.
- Leadership: Co-leads the Bristol Aerosol Research Centre (BARC) and NIHR AERATOR group, focusing on SARS-CoV-2 transmission and infection control.
