James Creagan is a Professor and Ambassador in Residence at the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW), San Antonio, where he also serves as a Fellow at the Liza and Jack Lewis Center of the Americas. Previously, he served as President of John Cabot University (Rome, Italy) from 1999 to 2005, becoming President Emeritus thereafter. He held roles as a Guest Scholar at the University of Notre Dame’s Kellogg Institute and has maintained active involvement in global affairs through advisory boards and diplomatic engagements.
