James Brophy-Ellison is a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology at the University of Central Florida (UCF). He joined UCF in 1969 after earning his Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University. His research focuses on humor's impact on stress, health, mood, and the immune system, as well as computer applications in psychology, particularly leveraging the World Wide Web. He collaborates with Florida Hospital on projects addressing lower extremity rehabilitation and vestibular/balance issues. Office hours are by appointment only.
