Dr. James Berquist is a Tutor at Thomas Aquinas College, his alma mater (Class of 2008). He earned his MA and PhD in philosophy from the University of Dallas, specializing in Aristotelian and Thomistic philosophy under mentors including Dr. John Neumayr.
Berquist teaches within the College's Great Books curriculum, focusing on Aristotelian metaphysics, Thomistic thought, and natural law theory. His scholarship examines philosophical foundations in literature, including publications on Macbeth's tragic heroism and natural law theory.
