James Adler

James Adler is an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Fine Arts at Saint Peter's University. A renowned pianist and composer, he has performed globally, including venues like the Royal Albert Hall and Alice Tully Hall, and composed works such as Memento mori: An AIDS Requiem and Canticle For Peace for the United Nations General Assembly.

• Education: B.M. in Piano Performance (1973) and Master of Composition (1976) from the Curtis Institute of Music.
• Research & Creative Work: Focuses on music composition, choral works, and film scoring, with notable premieres at Carnegie Hall and collaborations with AmorArtis Chorale and Orchestra.
• Service: Director of Choral Music, Freshman Faculty Advisor, and Advisor for Music Minors at Saint Peter's University; Organist and Conductor of the Saint Peter's Glee Club for WOR-TV broadcasts.
