Jala Attia

Jala Attia is an Adjunct Professor at the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice and Forensic Sciences at the University of New Haven, specializing in healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detection and compliance. She is also the Founder and President of Integrity Advantage, bringing decades of leadership experience in FWA programs and investigative operations.

• Education: BA from Rutgers University, MBA from Georgian Court University.
• Certifications: Accredited Healthcare Fraud Investigator (AHFI), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC).
• Expertise: Healthcare fraud investigations, forensic sciences, compliance program development, anti-fraud initiatives.

She actively participates in national anti-fraud education and has held board positions at the National Healthcare Anti-Fraud Association (NHCAA).
