Jake Montanarini

Jake Montanarini is Lecturer and Industry Liaison for Games Art and Design at Norwich University of the Arts. His practice uses games as creative solutions for communication challenges, emphasizing storytelling, player agency, and engagement with complex narratives.

Montanarini designs industry-aligned curricula and connects students with studios through partnerships with Sumo Digital and Odd Bug Studio. His applied projects include card games for economic modeling with Norwich City Council, board games for refugee relocation algorithms with UEA Computer Science, and resilience-building tools for primary education.
