Jake Abrams

Dr. Jake Abrams is an Associate Professor in the Department of Illustration Animation at the Kingston School of Art, Kingston University London. He holds a Senior Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA), a National Art Design and Media Teaching Fellowship (ADMHEA), and a Kingston University Teaching Fellowship. Alongside teaching on the BA Illustration Animation program, he serves as an external examiner at multiple institutions and actively practices as an illustrator, designer, and artist, collaborating with major publications like The Independent, Creative Review, The Times, The Guardian, and Blueprint.

His practice bridges art, design, and education, emphasizing drawing as a foundational discipline.
