Jaihee Choi

Dr. Jaihee Choi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Marquette University, located in Cudahy Hall. Her research focuses on statistical genetics, survival analysis, and high-dimensional data applications in biomedical contexts. She teaches courses in statistical methods and has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals such as Statistics in Medicine and JCO Precision Oncology.

Her work addresses critical challenges in genetic association studies for complex diseases, including interval-censored outcomes and competing risks frameworks. Recent studies explore germline risk variants in pancreatic cancer and biomarker prediction in breast cancer trials.
