Jae-Hwa Shin

Dr. Jae-Hwa Shin is a faculty member at the University of Southern Mississippi, serving as Strategic Communication Program Lead and Online Public Relations Master's Program Coordinator. She holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Missouri-Columbia, an MPH from the University of Southern Mississippi, an MA from Sogang University, and a BA from Ewha Womans University.

Dr. Shin has received the PRIDE Award for Outstanding Education in Public Relations and the Advanced Certificate in Effective College Instruction from ACUE & ACE. She previously served as Communication Director for the Korea Economic Research Institute and Center for Free Enterprise of the Federation of Korean Industries.

Her work spans teaching courses such as Public Relations Theory, Mass Media Theory, and Crisis Communication, alongside leadership roles in curriculum development for graduate programs.
