Jade Roberts

Jade Roberts is a Lecturer at Melbourne Law School, where she teaches international law and refugee law. She is currently completing her PhD on statelessness in international law.

Her research examines legal frameworks addressing statelessness, forced displacement, and human rights violations. She serves as co-managing editor of the Statelessness and Citizenship Review and contributes to the Peter McMullin Centre on Statelessness.

Publications analyze racialized denationalization practices, legal mechanisms creating statelessness, and academic freedom protections. Her work combines doctrinal analysis with critical legal theory to address gaps in international protection regimes.
