Professor Jacqueline Mowbray teaches International Law and Human Rights Law at Sydney Law School, University of Sydney. She serves as external legal adviser to Australia's Parliamentary Joint Committee on Human Rights.
Research focuses on international human rights law, economic/social rights, and linguistic justice. Her award-winning book examines the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights.
Publications analyze language rights, education rights, and gender audits. Recent work addresses multilingualism in legal contexts and policy frameworks for linguistic justice.
