Jacqueline Genovesi is a Research Professor in Drexel University's School of Education and Executive Director of the Center for STEAM Equity at the Academy of Natural Sciences. She holds a PhD from Drexel University, MLA from University of Pennsylvania, and BS from Rider University.
Dr. Genovesi's research addresses equity in STEM education through community-engaged programs. Her work develops bilingual curricula for early STEM literacy, creates mentorship models for underrepresented groups, and enhances museum accessibility. She directs multi-million dollar NIH and NSF initiatives including 'Seeds to STEM' and 'Engaging Women in Engineering'.
Honors include the Presidential Award for Excellence in STEM Mentoring (2018) from the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Her grant portfolio exceeds $8 million from agencies including NSF, NIH, IMLS, and private foundations.
