Jacqueline (Turcios) Brown

Jacqueline (Turcios) Brown is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Speech-Language Pathology Program at the University of New Haven. She also serves as a Clinical Anatomy Instructor for the Physician Associate Medicine program within the School of Health Sciences.

Jacqui’s publications address speech perception, audiovisual integration, and neurodevelopmental disorders, particularly in children with autism. Her work explores the intersection of sensory processing, speech discrimination, and behavioral outcomes.

She teaches courses such as Neurogenic Language Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and Anatomy and Physiology of the Speech Mechanism.
