Jacob M Appel

Jacob M. Appel is a Professor of Psychiatry and Medical Education at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and serves as Director of Ethics Education in Psychiatry and Assistant Director of the Academy for Medicine & the Humanities. He also works as an emergency room psychiatrist in the Mount Sinai Health System. His interdisciplinary work bridges bioethics, law, and medicine.
