Prof. Dr. Jacob Ewert is a Professor at the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences and Landscape Architecture at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, leading the Sustainable Food Technology field. He holds a PhD from the University of Hohenheim (2014–2018) and has extensive industry experience at IFF/DuPont (2018–2024). His research focuses on sustainable food alternatives, enzymatic processes, and functional ingredients. He teaches courses such as Lebensmitteltechnik and Sustainable Food Production.
