Jackie Walduck

Jackie Walduck is a Senior Lecturer in Music at the University of Kent, UK. Her work focuses on improvisation, blending audio and visual live art with an emphasis on the social and sensory dimensions. She is known for performances like Miso Kitchen (2020) and Communion (2022), as well as her album Vibin' and Marblin (2021), co-created with Chloe Cooper, exploring sensory experiences. Her research engages with mental health advocacy and community collaboration.

Recent projects include a 2024 soundwalk with musicians experiencing homelessness (via the Echoes XYZ app) and a 2025 partnership with the Academy of St Martin in the Fields exploring 'musical empowerment.' She also plans expansions of Vibin and Marblin's ritualistic performances into portable formats.
