Jackie Gallagher is an Associate Professor in the Department of Geography at the University of Mary Washington (UMW). She holds a B.Sc. from the University of Wales, College of Swansea; an M.Sc. from Memorial University of Newfoundland; and a Ph.D. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Her research spans physical and human geography, with a focus on environmental science, geospatial analysis, and sustainability studies.
