Jacinthe Rouleau

Jacinthe Rouleau is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Montreal. She practices both general ophthalmology and neuro-ophthalmology at the CHUM (Centre hospitalier de l'Université de Montréal), where she serves as Chief of the Neuro-Ophthalmology Division. Her clinical focus includes cataract and glaucoma management, with expertise in cataract surgery since 2007.

Her research interests center on neuro-ophthalmic diagnostics, visual system function, and surgical innovation in cataract and glaucoma care. She actively contributes to clinical education through training programs and national/international conferences.

At CHUM, Dr. Rouleau leads neuro-ophthalmology clinics and participates in ongoing research initiatives, including a funded project (2013-2014) evaluating the use of a "flicker meter" for optic nerve function testing.
