Jacek Ryń is a Professor and Head of the Product Design Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. He specializes in developing solutions for everyday products, medical devices, and public spaces. Graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Design at his alma mater, he earned his doctorate in 2019. His work includes the award-winning PLC heater (Good Design 2014) and the Pictor rehabilitation device (Polish Product of the Future 2013).
Key research interests include medical device design, automation in design processes, and public space innovation. He has collaborated internationally with institutions like Design Academy Eindhoven and Droog in the Netherlands.
