Jacek Blazewicz is a distinguished Polish academic affiliated with the Polish Academy of Sciences (Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry) since 1999. He has held prominent positions at Poznań University of Technology (PUT) from 1987–2022, including Director of the Institute of Computing Science, and served as Professor at Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) in Poznań (1994–1999).
