J.D. Lefrandt

Dr. J.D. Lefrandt is a Professor in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Groningen (UMCG). He holds a MD and PhD, with expertise in cardiovascular medicine, oncology, and endocrinology. His primary role includes teaching and examining master's students in Medicine. Dr. Lefrandt's research focuses on cardiovascular risks in cancer survivors, particularly testicular cancer patients treated with chemotherapy, metabolic syndrome in young cancer survivors, and thyroid hormone effects during treatment.
