J. Ken Stuckey

J. Ken Stuckey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English and Media Studies at Bentley University, where he also serves as Assistant to the Department Chair. He earned his Ph.D. (2003) and M.A. from Cornell University, and an M.A. and B.A. from Wake Forest University.

Dr. Stuckey’s research focuses on African American literature, American cinema, and American popular culture. His work explores intersections of race, identity, and media representation.

One of his notable publications is When Literature Is Evangelical (2010), which examines religious themes in literary works. His research spans disciplines such as Literary Criticism, Religious Studies, and African American Studies.
