Jörg Altmann

Prof. Jörg Altmann is a Professor of Social Work Law at Erfurt University of Applied Sciences, serving as Vice Dean for Studies and Teaching. He holds leadership roles in Thuringia’s legal and healthcare governance, including Chairman of the State Arbitration Board for Contracted Medical Care and the Appeals Committee of the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians. His expertise spans social law, child protection, family law, and criminal justice.

Education & Qualifications:

• Law studies at University of Leipzig and Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich (1991–1995)
• 1st and 2nd State Examinations in Law (1995, 1998)
