Ivan Marcus

Ivan Marcus is the Frederick P. Rose Professor of History and Professor of Religious Studies at Yale University. He specializes in Jewish history from late antiquity to the early modern period, with focuses on Jewish-Christian relations, the history of childhood, and life cycle rites. Before joining Yale in 1994, he was Professor of Jewish History and Provost at The Jewish Theological Seminary of America. He has also taught at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Princeton University.
