Ivan Basić

Associate Professor Ivan Basić works at the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Split, with his primary affiliation in the History Department. He teaches courses spanning undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels, including topics such as Church and Christianity in the First Centuries, Croatian History of the Middle Ages, and Chivalry on the Eastern Coast of the Adriatic Sea.

Research Interests: His work focuses on Medieval History, Adriatic Basin Civilization, Cultural History, and Social Elite Studies. He contributes to the Popularization of Science and explores historical dynamics of urban development in Split and the Eastern Adriatic.
