Iuliia Yamnenko

Iuliia Yamnenko is a Research Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Study (TUM-IAS) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) since 2022. Her affiliation is with the TUM School of Engineering and Design, hosted by Prof. Constantinos Antoniou. She is part of the Fellowship for Ukrainian Scientists program.

Her research focuses on machine learning methods for traffic demand and supply prediction, aiming to enhance road traffic management through data-driven approaches. Key activities include constructing and validating traffic simulation models using open-source data (e.g., OpenStreetMap, municipal platforms like Paris and Madrid) and integrating machine learning/deep learning with real-time data from companies like Uber and TomTom.

Her project emphasizes leveraging diverse datasets and advanced algorithms to improve traffic monitoring, prediction, and control, addressing challenges in urban mobility and infrastructure optimization.
