Israel Luis Peña is a Research Fellow (Postdoc) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, affiliated with the AEROSPACE, MOVEABILITY AND NAVAL ARCHITECTURE Unit. He holds a Mechatronics Engineering degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru (PUCP) and led the Biomechanics and Applied Robotics Research Lab there. As CEO of Löfte, his startup focused on human augmentation technologies, he has filed patents in sensing and augmentation fields. His PhD research at KTH’s MoveAbility Lab under Prof. Lanie Guitierrez Farewik develops multiarticular lower-limb soft exoskeletons for human enhancement, combining musculoskeletal modeling, gait simulation, and human-in-the-loop optimization.
