Ismail Loghmari

Ismail Loghmari is a Research Fellow at The Cyprus Institute's Energy, Environment & Water Research Center (EEWRC), joining in late 2023. His research focuses on solar resources assessment and concentrating solar power systems, integrating industrial operational perspectives from his prior career.

Previously, he held a senior engineering role in Tunisia's heavy industry sector, overseeing mechanical operations and maintenance of thermal power and chemical plants. He also gained teaching and mechanical design engineering experience. His work bridges applied research with real-world industrial challenges in sustainable energy systems.
