Islam Md Rizwanul Fattah

Dr. Islam Md Rizwanul Fattah is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and IT. His research focuses on sustainable energy applications, including waste-to-energy systems, combustion optimization, and renewable fuels. He holds a PhD in combustion engineering from the University of New South Wales (2019), an MEngSc from the University of Malaya (2014), and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2011).

Dr. Fattah's research interests span combustion science, alternative fuels, renewable energy systems, and emission reduction. He has published over 120 articles, garnered over 7,500 citations, and serves as an Associate Editor for multiple journals. Notable recognitions include being named a 'Highly Cited Researcher' (2022-2023), 'Top 2% Scientist' (2020-2022), and 'Research Rising Star' (2019).
