Isis Truck

Isis Truck is a full Professor of Computer Science at University of Paris 8, affiliated with the Engineering, Cognition, Disability department under the UFR eriTES school. She directs the Human and Artificial Cognition laboratory (CHArt – EA 4004) since 2020 and has held significant administrative roles, including Deputy Director of the CLI doctoral school and membership in editorial boards.

Her research focuses on Artificial Intelligence, Fuzzy Logic, Accessible Web Programming, and Human-Artificial Cognition, with applications in smart sensors, LaTeX-based document preparation, and inclusive technologies. She has contributed to educational tools and frameworks for programming education, including interactive JavaScript/PHP courses and LaTeX resources.

Scientific Awards:

• Best Paper Award at International Conference (2016)

As a leader in the CHArt laboratory, she has driven research initiatives in technical aids for disabled people and served on regional councils for doctoral grants. Her teaching spans advanced web technologies, logic, and project management at both Master's and undergraduate levels.
