Isilda Rodrigues is an Assistant Professor at the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) within the Department of Education and Psychology. Her academic qualifications include a 2015 Habilitation in Science Didactics, a 2005 PhD in Education (History of Science), a 2000 Master in Health Education, and a 1993 Degree in Biology/Geology from UTAD.

She created the Eco-Skills Program for Sustainability and coordinates LabScience, a science education initiative.
Leadership Roles: Member of the Inter-Divisional Teaching Commission (2018–present), team member for the 3rd School Assessment Cycle (General Inspectorate of Education and Science), and former Student Ombudsman (2020–2025).
