Dr. Isaura Wayop is a Researcher in the Department of Biomolecular Health Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Utrecht University. Her work focuses on antimicrobial stewardship and guideline implementation to combat antimicrobial resistance in veterinary practice, with emphasis on animal health and One Health frameworks.

Dr. Wayop actively shapes veterinary education as lecturer and coordinator of the Tropical Animal Health course. She previously served on a Ministry of Agriculture (LNV)-commissioned committee evaluating Dutch veterinary quality standards and continues to bridge research with practical applications through guideline development projects for both human and veterinary medical professionals.
