Isak Berbic is an Associate Professor in the Department of Art at Stony Brook University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds an M.F.A. from the University of Illinois at Chicago and previously studied at the Malmö Art Academy in Sweden. His work focuses on reimagining social narratives through photography, moving image, performance, and text-based installations, addressing themes such as contested histories, photographic representation, and socio-political geographies.
