Isadora A. Helfgott is an Associate Professor of History and Vice Provost for Global Engagement at the University of Wyoming's College of Arts and Sciences. She holds a Ph.D. and M.A. in History from Harvard University, and a B.A. in History and Art History from Swarthmore College with Highest Honors.

Her research focuses on American cultural history and visual culture, particularly the interplay between fine art and popular culture in the 1930s-1940s, contested cultural boundaries, and political ideologies in art patronage. She explores global cultural exchange networks, colonial legacies in museums, and state-sponsored artistic responses to water management projects.
As Vice Provost, she oversees internationalization initiatives including International Students & Scholars, Education Abroad, and the Center for Global Studies. She previously served as Department Head for History & American Studies and Program Director for the Museum Studies minor.
