Isabelle Schaffner is a Professor of French language, literature, and civilization at École Polytechnique (France). She directs the French Studies Program within the Department of Languages and Cultures and currently teaches courses on French literature, cinema, and humor. Her research focuses on French and Comparative Literature, affiliated with the LinX & ITEM-CNRS laboratories.
