Isabelle Reymen

Isabelle Reymen is a Full Professor of Design of Innovation Ecosystems at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), affiliated with the Industrial Engineering and Innovation Sciences department. She leads the Innovation, Technology Entrepreneurship and Marketing (ITEM) group and serves as Scientific Director of TU/e innovation Space, a hub for Challenge-Based Learning, student entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration.

Her academic background includes a PhD in Design Sciences from TU/e (2001), with prior studies in architecture and engineering at KULeuven. Research focuses on collaboration processes for technology commercialization, design science methodology, and innovation ecosystems. She has coordinated campus-wide entrepreneurship education and secured multiple EU grants on entrepreneurial topics. In 2020, she became a Comenius Leadership Fellow for education innovation research.

Publications span journals like Research Policy, California Management Review, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, emphasizing actionable insights for practice. Teaching activities include courses on innovation processes, entrepreneurship, and design thinking.

Awards and recognitions include the Comenius Leadership Fellowship. She actively contributes to grants, innovation spaces, and collaborative projects bridging academia, industry, and society.
