Isabelle Giroux is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director – Undergraduate Studies at the School of Nutrition Sciences, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Ottawa. She holds a Ph.D. and is a Registered Dietitian (R.D.) and Professional Home Economist (P.H.Ec.). Her professional roles include leadership in dietetic education, accreditation, and policy development through organizations like the Partnership for Dietetic Education and Practice (PDEP) in Canada. She previously chaired the French Network of Dietitians of Ontario and Canada (2007–2015).
Her research focuses on obesity, diabetes prevention, nutritional assessment, and interprofessional healthcare education.
