Isabel Stuart

Isabel Stuart is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Drama at the School of English and Drama, Queen Mary University of London. Her research focuses on feminist performance, affect and emotions theory, and audience engagement. She completed her BA in Drama at Queen Mary in 2015 and began her PhD in 2019, investigating how feminist performances evoke affective responses to inspire societal change. Her work examines audience experiences of feminist theatre both in-person and online in London.
