Isabel Madeleine Runge

Isabel Madeleine Runge is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University. She is supervised by Burcu Akinci and Mario Bergés and affiliated with the Mosaic team (Management of Model-based Sensor-driven Advanced Infrastructure and Construction Systems) and INFERLab team (Intelligent Infrastructure Research Lab).

• Current Research: Cyber-physical security in the built environment, focusing on detecting cyber-attacks on building automation systems like HVAC.
• Prior Work: Large-scale Wireless Sensor Networks, Internet of Things, resilient wireless communication, and Network Coding.
